9.8 Power Tilt
Tohatsu America Corp., announced the launch of its new 9.8 hp Power Tilt model, to be released in Spring 2009. The new engine will be on display at the Miami International Boat Show, along with Tohatsu’s full line, at booth number I98-I100.

This lightweight, yet powerful compact offers is the lightest model in the 9.8 hp class. Its power tilt and transom bracket allow for convenience and a greater operating experience, making the 9.8 Power Tilt the ideal choice for sailors and boaters.

The new four-stroke, two-cylinder engines are available with manual or electric starting systems.

Tohatsu’s 9.8 horsepower has already won an editor’s choice award for being light, powerful and compact.  With the new added Power Tilt feature, it’s sure to cause waves in the industry as well as out on the water.
